Q: How do I get Mobile Deposit at Garrison State Bank and Trust?
A: You must first have Online Banking, then the Mobile App (GSB Mobile). Upon logging into GSB Mobile, select Deposits on the drop down menu, and follow the instructions to sign up for Mobile Deposit.
Q: Who is eligible for Mobile Deposit?
Q: How do I endorse my check for Mobile Deposit?
A: Endorse the back of the check as you always would, but print "For Mobile Deposit Only GSB&T" under your signature. Your signature and "For Mobile Deposit Only GSB&T" underneath is required for ALL checks deposited with our mobile app. Unfortunately, if you deposit a check through the mobile app without this endorsement, the check will be declined and you'll receive notification. To help ensure your checks are deposited conveniently and quickly using our mobile app please use this endorsement.
Q: Is the endorsement requirement only Garrison State Bank and Trust's requirement, or is this requirement for all financial institutions?
Q: How do I make a Mobile Deposit?
A: Take photos of the front and back of your check after properly endorsing. Select the account you want the deposit going into. Enter the amount of your deposit. Submit your deposit. You will get a confirmation e-mail from Garrison State Bank and Trust, and a confirmation on your app.
Q: When will my Mobile Deposit be into my account for me to access the funds?
A: You'll know the funds are available when the amount appears in the balance of the account you selected when you submitted your mobile deposit.
Q: What is the deadline so my Mobile Deposit funds are available by the next morning?
A: 6:00 pm Central Time.
Q: What do I do with my check after I have deposited it?
A: After Mobile Deposit, we recommend writing "Mobile Deposit on [date]" on the front of the check. Keep your check in a safe place for five days, and then shred it. The five days allows sufficient time in case the original item is needed for any reason.
Q: Is there a limit as to how many Mobile Deposits I can do?
A: Yes. You are eligible for 5 per day, and 10 per month.
